Sandestin Real Estate is Honored to be a Food Drive Team for Food For Thought Outreach's Mission.

As a prominent business in our local community, we at Sandestin Real Estate recognize the unique opportunity we have to be able to make a difference. Because we hold this commitment to give back to our community, we have once again partnered with Food for Thought Outreach, a non-profit organization that operates on the principle that no child should go hungry. Established in 2010 as a small family project to serve food to insecure children for one school year, Food For Thought has grown into the go-to organization fighting childhood hunger in Walton and Okaloosa Counties providing weekly access to over 3,000 food insecure school-aged children across 32 school locations. 

This year marks the 10th Annual Stock The Pantry Party but this one is a bit more special because Food For Thought will be celebrating its new warehouse facility in Santa Rosa Beach and raising the bar with a goal to collect 190,000 food items to cover the first six weeks of back to school across Walton and Okaloosa Counties schools.

Joining Food for Thought's efforts to achieve their goal, Sandestin Real Estate is a Food Drive Team and will be donating and collecting food items from August 1st - August 23rd, 2023 before the grand finale at the Stock the Warehouse Party event on August 24th.

We encourage everyone who is able to support this wonderful cause to drop off their donations at the three convenient locations within the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, at our Welcome Center lobby, at The Linkside Conference Center near Sunset Bay Cafe, and at our Discovery Center office building in The Village of Baytowne. Some of the suggested food drive items are:

- Pop-top cans (soups, canned tuna, canned chicken)

- Shelf-stable items (milk and juices)

- No glass jars (peanut butter and jelly)

- Fruit cups

- Cereal and granola bars

- Applesauce
